Corporate digital transformation moves from adoption to measurable operation

Companies accelerate the adoption of automation, observability, and artificial intelligence, but face integration, monitoring, and cost-control obstacles. In this scenario, platforms that connect attention, ecommerce, and analytics help turn technology into measurable processes.

Corporate digital transformation moves from adoption to measurable operation

The adoption of specialized technological practices in corporate operations could reach 80 percent by 2028, compared to 30 percent recorded in 2024. The change reflects an acceleration in business digitalization and places software engineering and information technology teams in a strategic position within companies.

Progress does not consist solely of adopting new tools. Organizations must integrate legacy systems, monitor automated models, control costs, and demonstrate that technology improves tangible results. Therefore, digital transformation shifts from isolated experimentation to operational management with metrics, governance, and executive accountability.

A global Dynatrace study, in which 919 IT leaders participated, identifies automation, digital observability, and intelligent systems as core components of this transition. However, more than a third of surveyed specialists point to technological integration as the main barrier to coordinating legacy platforms with new development environments.

Monitoring also takes on greater relevance. 67 percent of experts consider it a priority to monitor the behavior of algorithms, while data fragmentation makes ongoing and transparent evaluation difficult. Additionally, only 40 percent of platform engineers have managed to integrate observability capabilities in all implementation stages, and 37 percent identify connectivity between systems as one of their main obstacles.

Internal consolidation offers a possible path forward. Among organizations applying reliability and platform engineering practices, 89 percent already have developer-owned infrastructure and 60 percent report widespread adoption in their operational areas. However, metric dispersion can limit the definition of service objectives and complicate decision making.

From isolated technology to integrated workflows

For companies, the challenge is to connect digital capabilities with activities that can be measured: customer service, sales, ecommerce, marketing, and operations tracking. At Onix Board we offer multi-channel conversational automation, a unified inbox, online store management, AI-assisted content generation, and analytics dashboards by flow and channel.

This approach allows starting with specific processes, setting indicators, and evaluating results before expanding an implementation. The priority is not to accumulate tools, but to reduce fragmentation, improve traceability, and maintain controls that enable teams to interpret data and validate system performance.

The projection for 2028 confirms that digital transformation will continue to modify the operational structure of corporations. The best-prepared organizations will be those that combine automation, observability, skilled talent, and executive backing with platforms capable of turning interactions and data into verifiable operational decisions.
