Mexico faces a gap between the size of its video game market and the financial capacity of its development studios: while national consumption could surpass 43,590 million pesos, Mexican developers bill around 71.7 million pesos compared to a global industry valued at 255,000 million dollars.

The Mexican ecosystem includes more than 44 developer studios that generate 569 direct jobs and collectively bill close to 71.7 million pesos. Moreover, more than 80% of these studios' revenues come from exports, a sign that there is capacity to sell outside the country, though still at a reduced scale.
The contrast also appears in consumption. Mexico brings together more than 73 million gamers and 85.9% access video games via smartphones. This user base represents a relevant demand, but does not by itself guarantee that economic value stays with national studios.
